Al-Hikmah are a team dedicated to providing eye treatment to the underprivileged in Malaysia. Typical services provided by them include refractive eye screening, binocular vision therapy and treatment for the color blind and dyslexic patients.

Al-Hikmah provides access to eye screening services free of charge. Elsewhere, a comprehensive eye exam costs almost RM200 – something that the underprivileged can ill afford. Once problem is discovered, a patient is referred to the appropriate government health facility.

In 2014, Al-Hikmah treated close to 2,000 underprivileged patients and together with DHL IT Services launched the 1 Hope 1 Vision campaign in which a total of eyewear was distributed for free to flood victims in Kelantan.
